Cubic Zirconia Rings: It’s All About The Benjamins

Let’s be honest. One of the best reasons to purchase Cubic Zirconia rings is that they enable you (and/or the one you love) to look great on a budget! Why break the bank when you just don’t have to? Who do you need to impress? Nobody, that’s who! If anything, people should be impressed that you are not spending too much money on something as extravagant as jewelry. If you blow two months of your salary or more on a diamond ring (which is what some advertisers strongly encourage people to do) what on earth is positive about that? How are you supposed to survive during those two months? If you do have money saved up, can’t you think of about a billion better things to spend that money on than diamond rings?
How about putting the money toward the down payment for a house or a car? These are things that you actually need. You NEED a roof over your head and you NEED a way to get around town.) On the contrary, you don’t NEED jewelry of any kind, and you especially don’t need jewelry that you cannot afford. Not only that, but if you ever are in a relationship with someone who insists that you buy expensive jewelry as gifts, you might seriously want to rethink that relationship. You are not a bank, you are a human being and you should never be treated as if you are some kind of human ATM machine.
“Gold digger” is an ugly term, but unfortunately, there are some people who may deserve this unfortunate title because they will only get involved in relationships with people who are willing to spend a lot of money on them. (Just think of the famous Kanye West song.) But this is not healthy behavior. That is it is not healthy for people to expect others to lavish them with fancy gifts, especially if they cannot afford to do so. Nor is it healthy to lavish gifts on people in an attempt to “buy their love.” A truly loving relationship is about love, strong communication, mutual appreciation and kindness, not about needless financial distress. Cubic Zirconia rings look great but they don’t break the bank. What could be better than that?
